Benefits of all types are paid based on the resolution No.32/97 issued by the Board of Directors.

For entitlement to end of service benefit, the insured should complete at least one full year of insurance coverage.

Required Documents

1.

Reaching the age of sixty for the male insured and fifty five for the female insured.

  1. Application for payment of entitlements.

  2. Copy of identity documents.

2.

Non-occupational death without fulfillment of the pension entitlement conditions.

  1. Application for entitlements payment of a deceased worker.

  2. Death certificate.

  3. Beneficiaries' statement form. 

  4. Identity documents of the beneficiaries and legal representative.

  5. Power of attorney.

  6. Legal notification of the limitation of succession.

3.

Non-occupational disability without fulfillment of the pension entitlement conditions.

  1. Application of the assessment of disability as per the designated form.

  2. Recent medical report confirming that the insured is unfit to carry out his work.

4.

End of service benefit prior to the application of the social insurance law to those who joined other bodies applying terminal benefits and pension law for the civil service employees.

  1. Payment Application.

  2. Copy of the letter of the Civil Service Employees Pension Fund addressed to the authority indicating the joining date.

  3. Identity document.

5.

For employees joining Government bodies that do not apply terminal benefits and pension law for the civil service, DRC and MOD employees.

  1. Payment Application.

  2. Letter from the employer confirming the date of joining.

  3. Identity document.

6.

For married or divorced woman or widow who are leaving work to take care of the family.

  1. Payment Application.

  2. Official document confirming marriage, divorce or widowhood. 

  3. Identity document.

7.

Disease reduces the ability to work effectively and efficiently.

  1. Payment Application.

  2. Medical report confirming that the insured is suffering from a disease diminishing his ability to work. 

  3. Identity document.

8.

Exceptional cases: Such as loss of Omani nationality.

  1. Payment Application.

  2. Copy of the new nationality.

  3. Letter from the Directorate General of Immigration & Passport confirming loss of Omani nationality.

All types of benefits are computed on the last basic salary drawn by the worker at the end of his service @ one month salary per annum for the first three years and two-month salary per annum effective the fourth year.
