System for the Omanis working abroad and alike:

1. This system is intended to provide insurance coverage to the Omanis working abroad and alike against old age, disability and death excluding work injuries and occupational diseases (Diplomatic and consular missions of Oman). This system is optional and limited to Omanis only.

2. Those who are subject to the Social Insurance Law No.72/92 or any other pension systems issued by virtue of Royal Decrees, and pensioners are not allowed to join this scheme. 

Registration Procedures:

Completion of the registration application form by the applicant and submission of the following documents:

• Copy of the job agreement concluded abroad approved by the authorities concerned and the Oman's embassy stationed in the country where the insured works.

• Valid copies of the passport and identity card (if any).

• Recent medical report approved by the authorities concerned and Oman's embassy or a medical report issued by a Government hospital in Oman confirming that the applicant is fit and able to work.

• Completion of the specimen signature form bearing the signature of the insured or his/her authorized representative as per the designated form.
